The cover illustration captures an imaginary sunrise landscape symbolizing the dawn of new possibilities in cancer therapy. The rising sun takes the form of an oncolytic virus coated with tumor-specific peptides, orchestrating the antitumor activity of CD8+ T cells. These T cells are portrayed as crossing a DNA bridge, signifying their journey towards the tumor site. In addition, the heterogeneity of cancer cells is vividly depicted as mountains of different colors.
A noteworthy detail is the intentional depiction of T cells walking "epi < επί" on the DNA strand bridge, emphasizing the significance of the epigenetic agent utilized in this study in tandem with the oncolytic adenovirus.
